Social Ideas

It’s been said that the love of money is the root of all evil. That said, more and more, there are people who are making money so that they can help more people. Simply, a sociopreneur is someone who is an entrepreneur, but uses the money earned for large social projects, helping the poor and hungry. This might seem like something a lot of companies do, but for sociopreneurs, it’s not an afterthought. In fact, for them, it’s an integral part of their business.

This strong desire to give back as they grow only serves to fuel their need to grow even larger, enabling them to help even more people. This is what makes sociopreneurs such a strong force in the business world even though they’re relatively new on the scene. It’s almost like they have a battery that can recharge itself. The more they grow the more people they help and the more people they help the larger they grow.

Some business owners pride themselves on being strict and stringent with all financial matters, saving every penny they can. Sociopreneurs, on the other hand, want to give back to society. For them, wisely giving away money to fund programs and services that can help a large amount of people is a good thing. This difference may seem like it would make chances for success harder to achieve for sociopreneurs, but sometimes it’s all in how you define the word success.

The question remains: What oppertunities are out there for sociopreneurs?
